Public Transparency

Show the record without overstating what it means.

This page is designed for verified aggregate database figures and explicitly published project-support periods. Report counts are not findings of misconduct, and reported losses are not legal damage awards.

Consumer reporting

Current aggregate record.

These figures describe what has been recorded in DAC. They do not establish liability or the truth of every allegation.

Breakdown categories with fewer than five reports are suppressed by the public aggregate endpoint. A report is a submitted consumer incident record, not a legal finding.
Project funding

Voluntary support and published operating periods.

Only verified contributions and transparency periods explicitly approved for publication are shown.

Project support is separate from case priority, case review and consumer outcomes. Project acknowledgements are not charitable tax receipts unless qualifying status is separately established and published.
How to read these numbers

Transparency includes explaining limitations.

Reports ≠ consumers

One consumer may submit multiple separate incidents. Both figures matter and should not be confused.

Reported loss ≠ awarded damages

Documented direct-loss fields reflect the consumer case record, not a court award or verified legal valuation.

Pattern ≠ finding

Similar reports can justify review, but similarity alone does not establish wrongdoing.

Funding ≠ influence

Contributions support operations and never purchase case priority, legal representation or a different outcome.
